Productive plants produce relatively small, 1–2" upward-facing, daisy-like flowers with papery petals. The flowers have a long vase life and also make excellent dried flowers. Plants are basal branching, which makes the thin, wiry stems easy to cut and strip. Helipterum is also known as Acroclinium, immortelle, paper daisy, Australian everlasting, and everlasting daisy.
