Fast-growing alfalfa with high forage and biomass yield.Long taproots break up compacted soil and bring up subsurface minerals. High nitrogen fixation and great bee forage. Sow early to midspring or in late summer (best time for weed competition), 1/2 lb./1,000 sq.ft. (15-20 lb./acre) alone. Use half this rate when mixed with grain/grass. Inoculate with Alfalfa/True Clover Inoculant (#7535) for best performance. Avg. 216,000 seeds/lb.
CULTURE: Sow the seeds at the time and rate specified in the product description. All legumes should be planted 1/4 to 1/2" deep.
